Our intent is to acquaint the seasoned clinician and expose the beginner practitioner to the crossover ethical issues of touch from the bodyworker and psychotherapist traditions in a collegial environment to provide growth, feedback and support.

Workshop goals and objectives:

• To review and address issues of Transference and Countertransference within the therapeutic relationship
• To promote and compare cultural competence, ethics, personal morals & social norms
• To review ethical issues and social customs in the clinical setting.
• To review issues of ethical boundaries using the separate professions of Massage therapist and psychotherapist as sources of metaphor.
• To familiarize therapists with situations that may question their ethical knowledge.
