Workshops goals and objectives:
- To review and address issues of Transference and Countertransference within the therapeutic relationship
- To promote and compare cultural competence, ethics, personal morals & social norms
- To review ethical issues and social customs in the clinical setting.
- To review clinical supervision in agency and private practice settings
- To examine roles of supervisor/supervisee; therapist/patient.
- To familiarize clinicians with situations that may question their ethical knowledge.
The NM Counseling & Therapy and the NM Social Workers Boards approve these workshops as continuing education activities
Our intent is to reacquaint the seasoned clinician and expose the beginner practitioner to the old tradition of clinical supervision in a collegial environment to provide growth, feedback and support.
