High Desert was originally opened in 2006 and services were halted in 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2024, we reopened High Desert to help the community and offer a comprehensive and, primarily, in-person intensive outpatient experience. High Desert (HDIOP) offers board approved Matrix Model 16 week treatment to individuals struggling with any type of substance use disorder. Our program is recognized by the State of New Mexico and is covered by all New Mexico Medicaid Managed Care Organizations and most commercial/private Managed Care Organizations.
